Rburke 2026

These works were made between 2022 and 2026. They are an array of mixed media art created through sketches, paintings, digitized artifacts, photography, and collage with a focus on nature, technology, change, and transformation. This is a collection of my creative practice in chronological order through my mid 20s grounded in experience and learning. From working with physical media in my apartment to spending summers with family in Wheaton, Illinois and Columbia, Missouri and trips to Berlin and Costa Rica. I translated inspiration from these places into my work. Moving to San Francisco and being motivated by the California sun, the San Francisco fog, and a city pushing constant change. This book acts as a milestone for my journey with mixed media.
