Pushing for Life

This book chronicles in detail one of my struggles with substance abuse, the losses I have endured, the horrors I have seen, and those close to me that I have lost to substance abuse over the years. My goal is that it will serve as an invaluable resource, aiding those in recovery, as well as working toward overall prevention. The book depicts life through the eyes of a substance abuser and addict. This is done in an effort to truly illustrate the destructive nature of all substance abuse, large and small, hard or soft, legal or illegal. My passion for writing on these topics is unquenchable as I have been through much pain and suffering as a result of poor choices, unfortunate circumstances, and an ever-so-apparent lack of will power. It is my desire that my pain, suffering, and loss be useful to others so that they might avoid the pitfalls I did not.
