Devastated But Not Destroyed, is a powerful inspirational work. It teaches us that through the word of God and applying that word to daily living we are able to overcome any circumstance or situation that come to claim victory over us. "I am a witness; our life is not over unless we give up. My life has not been nor is it without issues or challenges. The Lord is gracious and His mercy is enduring. He has called my end from the beginning and He knows me and the journey I have to take to get there. This holds true for us all who are in Him in spite of our shortcomings and inadequacies. Paul the apostle in Philippians 3:13 stated, “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.” I, as well as the rest of the Christian community, am at best “a work in progress.” Don’t lose heart. Know that the Lord will perfect us and that which concerns us and He will work all things together for our good.
