We live at the base of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, experiencing the dramatic change in our own landscapes, from degraded skies to rampant industrial and commercial development. We're asking this question: How shall we live? Some of us are poets, urban planners, and rap artists, others are academics, activists, and park rangers. We want to tell many kinds of stories, the stories of deserts and salt lakes and religious pioneers and inner city vegetable gardens, cat and dog stories, garbage and compost stories. We want to tell the stories of people in cities and on farms, of people who wander through disrupted landscapes and wonder where this all ends up.
