This book is an exploration of fear;logical and illogical. Mankind always searches for a source to attach blame when fears become reality. Parents,God,the government, and countless similar sources quickly become the recipients of this blame. With little to no thought given to ones own choices and short comings. What's fascinating is that children don't look for someone to blame, but take comfort in the protection of their dolls, invisible friends, and blankets. The voodoo doll is a perfect visual for the marriage of these two ideas. They are dolls believed to facilitate pain from one person to another. This became a spring board that lead to the creation of the characters found in this book. Hopefully through these pages one can laugh about that which can be debilitating and see that there is no reason to ...be afraid.
