Bryan Park has the perfect life from the outside. He has good grades and extremely talented in the piano and the violin. His parents are active in their jobs, school, and church. They seem to care for others, especially to the poor and the needy. Bryan thinks he should be happy. And he should! But his life starts falling apart and he starts to question his meaning of life. And the more he asks these questions, he realize that his perfect life isn't as perfect as he thought it was. He starts to hear voices in his head and it terrorizes him day and night. His intrusive thoughts however get the best of him and he starts a habit of cutting his own wrists. He can't help it but ask if he could get better. Life has no meaning and it's full of sadness and despair. He picks up an addiction of drinking and doing all sorts of drugs. Bryan's life gets out of control and he can't help it. Can he? Being a kid to immigrant parents from South Korea doesn't help at all either.
