Goodnight Little Duck.

A children's book written by Sara Alonso, an AISD High School student. Sara chose to write about saying goodnight to different animals that live around a little duck at the level of a small child. Mothers, fathers, Grandparents, and even siblings will have fun reading this book to the youngest member of the family. Miss Alonso wrote the children's book in her Principles of Human Services class for a book contest hosted by her teacher, Ms. Bowsher. Miss Alonso is one of 6 students who were finalists in the contest, which members across Arlington ISD judged. Ms. Bowsher assigned her classes the task of writing a children's book with the following parameters: 1. Pick the age group. 2. Choose a minimum of two of the P.I.E.S. (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Social Development). 3. Write the story, and illustrate with age-appropriate illustrations. Most students used Canva AI/MediaMagic to create their illustrations.
