May suddenly woke up. She felt that something was not right. Her fears were greatly heightened with the feeling of a presence in the room, a presence standing very close to where she was lying. She opened her eyes but her room was in total darkness, everything was black, only the sound of the fan that maintained ventilation in the room could be heard. She was not a stranger to this scene as this has been her room for five months now. She immediately loosened up and dropped her fears, besides, she was still sleepy. As her mattress was cheap and thin, she decided to lie on her side to take the pressure off of her back which was starting to get numb. That was when fear struck her. Moving her hands and legs as she tried to bring the weight over to one side was not possible, her hands would not move. She tried her legs – they would not respond either. She moved her head – it responded. Then she noticed something that really had her heart racing. She was gagged.
