Sybil regarded the electronics shop just across the street. She came to the coffee shop earlier to get a boost before she went home – she had a lot of reports to finish. At first she did not notice the shop, it had a simple sign and had no displays except for posted pictures of their products that no one will see unless they came closer. Even the sign was a bit unattractive – Joe’s, it said. She noticed it when after ordering her coffee and dark chocolate cake she realized that there was no space inside. Dumb woman, she scolded herself. It was just a few minutes before rush hour and this side of the city was known as ‘the little town that never sleeps”. It was the city’s Information Technology center which housed the biggest business that had anything with technology. Call centers, banking firms, market research companies were just a few of those that were firmly entrenched in this section of the city.
