The Interview

Two weeks ago Dellie came back to their hometown and immediately reconnected with Arielle. Dellie was looking great. She was wearing a full head of curly hair now instead of the usual ponytail she wore to school. Dellie was nineteen now and coming from a big city, it seemed that Dellie had adapted to the ways of that city and not only was more knowledgeable in the ways of the world than her, Dellie was now more beautiful than ever – than her. At first Arielle envied the carefree Dellie but once they got talking, Arielle realized how she missed her old friend. Talk moved from the usual topics – how the town was, how Mr. this and Mrs. that was doing. Eventually it moved towards Arielle. How she was, her family, how her boyfriend was.
