A group of school students headed home after a class trip find themselves stranded on a planet filled with dinosaurs after their ship crashes. During their enforced isolation the castaways discover two young boys who were believed lost nearly 30 years ago and how the dinosaurs were rescued from prehistoric earth. The wonders are short-lived when space pirates land on the planet and begin capturing the dinosaurs and stirring up all kinds of trouble. Can the castaways defeat the pirates and will they be rescued from the new prehistoric world?
