Letter of the law
Nasrudin found a valuable ring on the street. He wanted to keep it. But by law, the finder had to go to the marketplace and find out the facts three times. At three o'clock in the morning the mullah went to the place and shouted three times: "I found this and that ring."
At the third shout, people flocked to the streets. 'Why, Mulla?' They asked. The law prescribes a triple repetition, "said Nasrudin," and after all, as far as I know, I could be offended if I said the same thing a fourth time. But I'll tell you something else: I'm the owner of a diamond ring.
The cat is wet
Nasrudin took a job as a guard. His master called him and asked if it was raining. "I have to go to the Sultan, and the color on my favorite coat is not permanent. When it rains, it is ruined. '
Well, Nasrudin was very lazy; and besides, he boasted of being a master of deduction. The cat was just running around, soaking wet. "Master," he said, "it's raining heavily."
The master spent some time dressing in other splendor, went out and found that it was not raining. The cat was drenched by someone who had sprinkled it with water to scare it away.
Nasrudin got the sack.
