The main character in the book, Salitu, was faced with a maze-like circumstance he had not been prepared to deal with: He must have thought that his life was too well planned to fall out of place, and that he had done enough technical calculations to fit in the pros and cons of correct interaction with others - he used his lonesomeness as a shield to protect himself against disconcerting interruptions to his preferred social ways - which found support in the warmth of a caring lenient mother, who doted on him.Then the new kid in his school Raphael comes around, to over step this boundary, how would Salitu deal with his guts.
