Raising May : Feature Film Script

"In our society, things have changed family wise, nothing is the same as it used to be. Grandparents are raising grandchildren for one reason or another, parents & their children are estranged over long periods of time for one reason or another, & sometimes even in marriages, a huge strain is put on one spouse by the other's mental state. "Raising May" looks at these issues, & the struggle the main character May Lewis has to cope with all of these things, which takes it's toll. Yes, May admittedly isn't coping at all well, & trying to escape from the reality of all this, but aren't many people trying to do the same?"
