Bright Universe: Part 1

It had probably been over 100 years since the event. No one knows, or cares, exactly how long it had been. ‘The Shattering’, they called it. It changed, or rather destroyed, the world forever. Time collapsed onto itself and reality was changed forever. Time no longer flowed in a linear direction but was altered like branches of a tree. Space was no longer constant to the eyes, but kept shifting and changing rapidly. No one knows what “The Shattering” was exactly, but some said that it was a black-hole that shrunk infinitely and destroyed the physical properties of this universe. Others say that it was a punishment from god. Most of the planet had been destroyed instantly. Billions of lives lost. Countries and government gone, wiped form the face of the earth. Ideologies and cultures destroyed, all millions of years old. Only a certain section of people survived. They were part of an anonymous, but tightly knit group lead by a scientist called the Frontman.
