The Civil War has begun and friends Sam and Henry battle through the long journey of friendship. When Sam goes off to war, he leaves Henry, a black slave, wondering if he whould run. Then news comes of Sam's death and Henry makes a decision. He's going to run. Will he make it too freedom? Or will he be caught by the slave catchers?
