Swollen river, volume 2

When significant amounts of rain fall in a short period of time, rivers will swell with water beyond their normal capacity. A swollen river poses a risk of flooding in surrounding areas and disrupts daily life in nearby communities.
Monitoring water levels, flows, and observing rapid increases in river heights are indicators of a swollen river. Emergency services and disaster management authorities closely monitor these factors to issue timely warnings and ensure public safety. This occurred in May 2025 in Targu Mures, Mures County, Romania, as well as in adjacent areas or neighboring counties. This digital book with 61 pages contains 57 photos, of which 56 photos are about the Mures River.
The photos were taken by Simon Ladislau (László) on the evening of May 30, 2025 on the banks of the Mures River, in the area of the defense dikes in the Aleea Carpati neighborhood, Targu Mures. I mention that the defense dikes were built after the catastrophic floods in this location, which occurred on the morning of May 13, 1970.
The table of contents is located on page 60.
