¶ *Do not try to read this pdf on an e-reader*_
¶ Not only would the print be too small, but the file is so big you might crash the bloody thing (it crashed mine more than once). Both of these things are less true than they were with previous versions, but probably still true. So if you download it at all, use it on a desktop/laptop computer, or print it out, or if you know how convert it to something useable. Or just don't download it. Please please please don't download it and then be disappointed that you can't read it on the device you intended.
¶ This book is all of my word-paintings of Meejee, combined and re-written into a novel, then with cuts made—I cut everything I felt I could, trying to avoid a book half a million words long (the uncut version is longer than that). This one's a bit over a quarter million.
¶ The pdf is or should be the same as the one used to make the paperback version of this book; it's not formatted for any particular screen. Again, it's for printing out or reading on a laptop/desktop; the print's too small to be practical for a phone, and probably too small to be practical for an e-reader. Depending on your eyes, you could probably get by on a decent-sized tablet.
¶ Sorry the pdf version wasn't available for so long. I wasn't putting it up because of the too-big-to-use thing, but then I realized that if people shouldn't be opening it on an e-reader anyway then what's the difference?
¶ Like all or nearly all my books, this contains so-called explicit content: I always tick the box for warning people of that, but sometimes it doesn't take, so I'm also telling you here.
¶ If this isn't free (as in beer), something went wrong. Should be free. I get no money from anything on here. Data want to be free, and money makes me feel dirty (and not in the good way), and I’ve three other reasons. In fact, it should have been free the whole time it was up here, but things got messed up. Sorry.
¶ The actual date of first being printed _on Lulu_ is somewhere round 2005. The earliest version is from 1998. This version is the 2013 version with cuts and corrections from 2024, not a newer version.
¶ The cover-art is called _The Girl Who Wrote Herself_.
¶ See also _In a World We Never Made_ and _The Mook of Beg_, which contain parts of this story that are rather less about Meejee than what's in this book. Less-abridged versions of this book subsume the contents of those two books, but this one does _not_.
