Whimsical Magazine is a new independent fortnightly publication aiming to highlight and sublimize portrait photography in all its forms, envisioned as a work of art. Additionally to awesome and unique editorial or commercial portraits, every issue will consist of interviews and articles spotlighting talents, from every part of the world, who will inspire every photography and image enthusiast and stimulate you to excel in your art, in order to make you live your passion more completely. Passion, creativity, emotion and audacity are our 4 watchwords. Casey Tharpe is the photographer behind the lens. ‘I remember the first time I took a photograph that I was proud of. It was of my Mom and Dad when we were on vacation. I anywhere from 8 to 11 years old and I posed them and snapped the photo. It was actually so good that they framed it and they still have it.’ In the end, last year, Casey finally decided to invest in education and now has a website and is booked out two to three months in advance. She absolutely loves photographing people and capturing those true connections and providing her clients with images that they will cherish for a lifetime. ‘I am here to capture your emotions as I document your family in their true, authentic selves. As you browse my past work, you’ll see that I love to photograph at sunny, adventurous sites.
