(...) The gaze! It’s like looking at yourself in a deep lake full of life. If I can obtain this in my photographs, I consider myself the luckiest man in the world. (Black and white reveals a whole new world, full of light and shadow and reflections that color can’t provide. (...) I want that who is in front of the camera have a good feeling, feel free, safe and sound —and free to interrupt the poses in any moment. (...) I avoid putting myself in a dominant position. I want them to see that I’m just a simple man with a photo camera and the desire to obtain good images. (...) I’m not a Photographer. Neither an Artist. I’m an old guy that loves looking for something that my mind wants to find.”
