Whimsical Magazine is a new independent fortnightly publication aiming to highlight and sublimize portrait photography in all its forms, envisioned as a work of art. Additionally to awesome and unique editorial or commercial portraits, every issue will consist of interviews and articles spotlighting talents, from every part of the world, who will inspire every photography and image enthusiast and stimulate you to excel in your art, in order to make you live your passion more completely. Passion, creativity, emotion and audacity are our 4 watchwords. Bethany Gifford is the photographer behind Sage Photography CT. She’s a 19 year old photographer based out of Connecticut but as she absolutely love to travel, she’s always down to travel anywhere for all her clients’ photography needs. She also and overall has a passion and love toward photography unlike any other. ‘It is a rarity to find me somewhere other than behind a camera or a computer editing! How long have I been doing photography? Well, honestly forever. There isn’t a lot of memories I have as a child in which I wasn’t playing with a camera. This is definitely my passion and life long career! I ended up working with a professional photography company for a little over a year and ultimately decided this NEEDS to become my full-time job.’ Bethany also absolutely loves meeting new people and getting to know her clients before hand to capture the perfect genuine smiles. Indeed, her goal isn’t to «pose» her clients to perfection, but more to capture the «perfect pose» naturally. In other words, she wants to create authentic, uncanny moments and connections that can’t be remade. ‘I aim to capture the most genuine smiles and emotion through each image.
