Pitted Cherries is about a family in rural Hilton Head, SC. Its central character, Zilla is struggling to move on with her life according to her rules. Just as she begins to get a handle on things, her past knocks at her door. Like fog, her demons seep through the cracks, soon infecting everything she’d worked so hard to keep safe…. including HER LIFE! With Zilla, now in battle, she leaves vulnerable her three children. Like newborn cubs, they are not yet prepared for the wilderness that is the world that will, by any means necessary seek and destroy! They say life is what you make it… but sometimes, it just is what it is. Evil comes in many forms… so how does one know what to look for? They were just kids. This is their story….
