Traveling the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon by raft, examining ways we can possibly be friends with water, the people and ultimately ourselves: this book contains paintings, drawings, photographs and writing inspired by an amazing place and the adventure itself. With the Colorado River Compact set to expire in 2026, there is no greater time of concern for climate change, exponential human growth, extractivist culture and the rights/agencies of indigenous communities and the more-than-human species with whom we share resources.
