Sympathetic Eyes

Ryan O'Malley and Michelle Dumont met in High School and get mearried. After she finished college and after he joined the Marine Corps and served a tour of duty in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban and Alqaida, he voluteers for another tour there and gets seriously wounded in a fierce fire fight in the mountainous region of that country. He is sent to a hospital in Germany and then on to his home Base hospital in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where he tries to adust to the result of his most serious injury and is stunned by the coolness and indifference of his wife.
