What Happened Randi

Shocked and utterly distraught by the news of his cousin’s suicide, Grove Mathews leaves his Georgetown apartment in the middle of a 1972 summer night to drive to the family homestead in Orange, Virginia. Throughout the trip he is haunted with memories evoked by road signs. By the time he arrives, he has learned things about himself and his family that disgust him. And he has discovered that he always knew these things, but he hid and ran from them, resulting in a withdrawn and non-committal man that he is no longer willing to tolerate. When he arrives at the homestead he is ready to deal with it. And he does.
