The Sandhouse

Jack, a cynical everyman and Sam, a feisty 12-year-old girl, have little in common. But if asked, they'd both have agreed that climate change wasn't part of an alien mission to destroy the Earth as we know it, that the dinosaurs became extinct a few million years ago and that those two facts were unconnected. That is until they stumble on The Sandhouse which reveals the truth behind these and many other dark secrets and propels them into a series of events which threaten the very existence of human life.
