Billie and Babe are a duo. Babe as a young pupster communicates to his mom what really frightens him about humans. His mom tries to educate him on human affection. Eventually, Babe delights in human companionship and wants to have a human of his own. In a subliminal way this book teaches children how to understand and deal with dogs. Each page has an educational paragraph at the bottom for the reader to instruct the child. This is a great book fr someone with a new puppy. It helps children understand how a dog feels, hears and sees things from his point of view.
