A presence is felt within nature when reactions occur between materials, whether intentionally or by chance. The natural landscape is created and self sufficient by the actions of its own materials. for instance, the texture and consistency of soil after a rain shower, or the color and translucent glow of a grouping of leaves in the sunlight. The introduction of a built form into this landscape can further an understanding of the materials and their function within these compositions.
