It is an understatement, certainly, when collectors admit that the Rosan FAMOUS MONSTERS trading cards set would not win any awards for their design and photo quality. To the monster fan of the early 1960s, however, anything was worth grabbing, especially for the low price of $1 plus 25¢ for postage and handling! And while some of the cards were grainy and the photos clumsily retouched, it did contain some classic monsters and beautifully-horrible scenes of such greats as Konga, Reptilicus, and The Amazing Colossal Man – to name just a few.
