This collection of piano transcriptions includes eight popular tunes in arrangements of varied difficulty. The first two pieces can be performed by a beginner, the last ones require master skillset. Born as part of a project for the local piano teachers association, it quickly became a personal statement and progressed from a simple idea to complex textures and techniques. This book intends to offer an alternative to students and accomplished pianists when approaching popular Latin American material, which usually does not count with professionally crafted arangements.
