Love Is Freedom

Love Is Freedom is a collection of poetry inspired by my love for animals. Every animal in this world deserves a beautiful, peaceful life free of interference by humans. Animals are sentient, capable of feeling love, fear and joy. It is through the compassion of humans that animals, regardless of their species, will live the lives they were born to live. It is through the choice of humans to see animals as equals that we will see the end to animal exploitation. Through my poetry I aspire to give hope to those who are already a voice for the voiceless, and to help animal lovers everywhere to understand that all animals possess the same awareness and the same feelings. Why do we protect one and not another? It is in our very nature to be kind and gentle to all living things, and it is our role to protect those who are vulnerable. Choose to live a life that seeks to cause no harm to others. Choose to open your eyes to the truth. Choose compassion. Love is freedom.
