The Earthly Experience

This book is a collection of short stories with a strong connection to the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are analogies that have been written over time, based on true events. Each analogy begins with a story from my life. The second half of each entry is a relation to the gospel, based on the story. Each analogy is meant to teach a gospel principle and use real stories to help support and prove that we can find spiritual moments in everything. The basis of this book is the scripture from Doctrine and Covenants 29:34 “Wherefore, verily I say unto you that all things unto me are spiritual…” I believe that we don’t fully understand the true meaning of that scripture and it’s because we have a hard time seeing the spiritual moments in our temporal experiences. My goal is to help you see the miracles and the lessons in your daily life. This is achieved by examples I have found in my own life. These experiences range from moments on the high school basketball team to dirt bike wrecks, to riding horses, and even to burnt brownies.
