IDUNNA #106 (Winter 2015) is centered around the rune Gebo, whose name means "Gift"—and around the concepts of gifts, giving, and exchange so basic to Germanic cultures. Alvilldr in Fagra reviews gifting practices in Germanic culture; John T. Mainer contributes an essay on giving in his own life; and Ben Waggoner translates two Old Norse stories with gifts at their centers. We report on the Troth's participation at the Parliament of World Religions, and befitting the winter season, Jay Stratton writes about Yule customs in Sweden. There's plenty of poetry from Vicky Bowden, Jennifer Lawrence, Laurel Mendes, Diana Paxson, and Michaela Macha. And as always, there are book and TV reviews, recipes, news, all our usual columns, and more!
