About The Troth

The Troth is an international organization of people who are working to reclaim and rebuild the pre-Christian religious traditions of the peoples of ancient Germany, Anglo-Saxon England, and Scandinavia, collectively known most commonly as Heathenry. We welcome all who are drawn to the gods, myths, and values of these old ways. We publish a quarterly journal, Idunna, which features both scholarly articles and more personal and intuitive writings, poetry, regular columns, and artwork. We also publish a growing line of books of interest to Heathens, from practical handbooks and guides to translations of ancient texts.
