Polaroids: Lifted, Transferred, Manipulated

For decades, the Polaroid instant processes were mainstays of professional and fine art photography. While attending Brooks Institute of Photography I used many boxes of Polaroid 4x5 film to check exposure and composition while shooting with my Omega view camera. Years later I became hooked on the artistic aspects of all of the Polaroid films. I created art using SX70 Time Zero and Type 59 films. When an ignorant moron of a Massachusetts judge killed Polaroid many of us were heartbroken. Although versions of these films are currently being made, most of the techniques we used to do cannot be done using these new variants. This book is my love letter to the art of Polaroid film.
