In the history of theory-ous thought, theories abound about such things as matter, space, and time. Some better
than others. The great ones enjoy a long run at the top of the intellectual heap. Democritus’ atom; Ptolemy’s epicycles, Newton’s gravity. But eventually along come men like Copernicus, Heisenberg, and Einstein. And what used to be the answers to questions of reality, truth, knowledge, etc. wind up on the trash heap along with the flat-earthers, the epicyclists, and classical Newtonian physicists.
