Life in Hawaii

This is a reprint of the autobiography of Titus Coan and an account of his missionary work in Hawaii during the 19th century. Titus Coan was heavily influenced by the ministry of Charles G. Finney and he is largely responsible for the revival, or “Hawaiian Great Awakening”, of the 1800s. Coan also gives first hand accounts of volcanic eruptions on the Big Island of Hawaii.
