This baby wants to play music. Anything he gets his hands on turns into an instrument.
My kids have always loved playing music on any surface they could find. It sure is fun to play drums on your little brother’s head, for example. Also, blowing into a cardboard tube sounds exactly like a trombone. Baby Jam is a salute to this idea, that the only ingredient required to make music is creative inspiration.
There is a lot of tiny detail in these layered images. When I created it back in 2002, my computer was totally choking on the Photoshop files. When I made an edit, it would take 20 minutes to redraw the screen. Luckily today I have a much more powerful computer and those 2002 files seem tiny by 2009 standards.
This book was crafted in Seattle, WA. The pictures were created with a computer and a variety of traditional materials. http://www.ClayBot.com
