Tom and Mona Hicks met during WW2, fell deeply in love and were married. Just one week after the wedding, Tom was sent abroad on active service and was away for 18 months. This anthology includes some of the poems he wrote to Mona during their separation, as well as many more written during their happy family life together and since Mona went to be with the Lord in 1993.
