Sent to a distant planet to build and establish a colony, the original settlers wait for the day when the rest of the population will arrive. "Today could be the day", they tell each other, but time goes by and nobody comes. Outside the colony the planet is a vast, red dust storm. Within its limits, however, life goes on normally, maybe too normally. A screenplay based on the story 'Phantom of the Mall'
