High Ercall Manor

Abby, a former NYPD Crime Scene Investigator, inherited High Ercall Manor upon the death of her Grandmother, the Lady Diana Abigail Peveril. The manor has become Abby's place for healing...finding comfort in the spaces she had shared with her gran. That comfort is upended, however, by the entrance of a tall, dark, and handsome Scotsman named Fergus McDougal. Fergus claims he has documents given to him by a solicitor that mentions Abby and her beloved High Ercall Manor. But surely they have to be fake! Right? Abby thought that her gran told her everything...they were best friends after all. But what if her gran had kept secrets from her? What if the documents were legitimate? Could Abby open up enough to allow Fergus into her world, if only to explain his intrusion into her carefully constructed peace? She didn't know if she could trust him or his word, but she knew she had to at least listen. What harm could it do?
