Beauty not for things is
But for every being true.
Things are individualist.
Beings mean I and you.
Whether bathed in night
Or light-confessed,
Beauty is always right
And never stressed.
You may count on its nerve
Or await its concern:
No dog is allowed to bark
Lest it would learn
Thereby obedience well;
Surely this is known,
And the master rewards
Each for his very own
Self-disciplined appeal.
Face is the whole point
Of quiet dedication
As if one were to anoint
Creation out there at large
For both stillness and riot,
That noise be transformed
By peace and quiet.
All things let beauty lie
As if it did not relate,
While beings gladly consent
To beauty as their fate.
