Religion for Our Time

When religion stands still it loses its power and turns into a religion. The times are such that we no longer need to concern ourselves with what we were taught in the modern fashion. God is all in all and Jesus, who has ‘handed the kingdom over to the father’, is god in our flesh. What counts for us nowadays is that we take responsibility for our attitudes and learn how to cooperate with god in the construction of the kingdom of god on earth. How this plays out in the end can not be our concern. By learning how to love and then loving one another, we assure even our own wellbeing as we participate in our ongoing resurrection and life.
