I spent a lot of depressing years trying to cope with Autism. I was expecting other people to help make things better or take away the pain. I wanted someone else to improve my situation for me.
I was biter. I wanted to get rid of Autism. I learned that no one could make things better for me or improve my situation. Through many failures I eventually found success by taking responsibility for my own situation.
It's important that people with Autism know that it's Not their fault but it's their Responsibility to take Autism and make the most of it. No one else can do that for us.
Don't just be remembered for being a noun, be the VERB.
I don't want to be remembered as just a guy with Autism. I want to be remembered as a guy who did something Amazing with Autism.
