Every other human being would proceed from him. His was a unique existence, and his first experiences on earth initiated mankind's role in the days and ages to come. He was to rule, and have authority and dominion over every other creature in existence. As the first in his race, he enjoyed an exclusive relationship with God - a personal connection initiated by the Creator. God called him Adam - son of the red earth.
