AUTHOR’S PREFACE This book is special and the entire composition of the book falls under fiction. The book is a story about Mason the Mythical legend from Tsintsiya village in Kaduna State, Nigeria. It is a Mythical story that is based on tradition, which has some factual origins with others, which are fictional. It is a legend story based on a warrior who values strength and fears being, or seeming to be, a wimp. He is a person who has shown great vigor, courage and aggressiveness in his community, coupled with warrior-type personalities of being fearless, bold, courageous and strong. Concisely, he is Mason; a divine or sacred legend that surpasses natural human apprehension and thought that portrays significant expression in nature of mysticism. These written accounts Mason was taken into account and compared with the behaviour of courageous and brave Africans whose story was written with the help of anthropologists, explorers and present-day scholars who devoted their time to work and record African myths in order to preserve them. It is in the light of the above that the author presents some mysterious myth of Mason in Tsintsiya village, Kaduna. Thus, taking into consideration the three types of myths, (Aetiological Myths, Psychological Myths and Historical myth), the author focused more on Historical myth which is more concerned with historical events. The author also chose historical myths because it is the best suitable and convenient way of looking at Mason’s famous mythology. African Myths are important because they are valued as literature, which offers timeless and universal themes that give us insight into Myths, stories, legends, folklore, and tall tales that give valuable insights into how people perceive and think about Ancient Africa. The Genre and the entire composition of the book fall under fiction of Mason’s legend and famous mythology in West Africa.
