Chaos in Colorado

A genderless protagonist has been watching the world turn chaotic. The protagonist finds that the problem is the thing they hate most: teenagers. After bumping into their ex (referred to as Jamie) they seek out the teenagers causing all these problems. In turn, this puts them in kahoots against the government. Saving the world may jeopardize one, or both, of their lives. Will this newfound adventure spark an old flame, or will it simply burn out? And will either of them survive long enough to find out?
