The Mon Counting Book is a part of a book translation project for endangered languages
around the world. I began with Mon language because my ethnicity is Mon-Thai.
Mon is an indigenous culture of lower Burma. My grandparents illegally
immigrated to Thailand during WWII. Today people of Mon decent have no
homeland. The Mon language now faces the danger of extinction.
