The device is suitable for atmospheric monitoring requirements of ozone gas levels. Working Principle: Ambient ozone gas analyzers use UV spectrophotometric principles. Spectrophotometry is a method of measuring how much light a chemical substance absorbs by measuring the intensity of light when it shines on a sample solution. The basic principle is that each compound absorbs or transmits light in a specific wavelength range. The device is a Deer-Lambert Law-based UV absorption ozone analyzer that is ideal for monitoring low concentrations of ozone in ambient air. The ozone in the sample cell absorbs 254nm UV light that passes through it. The absorbance value is proportional to the ozone concentration in the air. Using a solenoid valve, alternating samples circulate through the measurement of the measuring gas, free of ozone. Finally, a very stable measurement of ozone concentration is obtained.
