Optimising the Internet: Key topics in modern network algorithms

This book is a collection of twenty key research papers published between 2003 and 2007. These are drawn from various areas in optimisation and algorithm design but are unified by a common theme – attempting to make the Internet a better place! In this vein, the book deals with a number of major network optimisation topics: the topological design of wired and wireless networks, traffic measurement and simulation, traffic filtering and routing.
